
Scott Browning is a film and multi-media artist whose work has appeared in numerous national and international festivals and galleries, and been featured in numerous publications including Esquire, The Believer, and Academe. He is the founder and former Director (1999-2007) of Hall Farm Center, an artist residency program in Southern Vermont; co-founder and Co-Director (2001-2007) of Exposures, a photography-based cross cultural youth exchange program on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota; former Chair of The Brattleboro Literary Festival (2002-2007); from 2008-2010, he served as Project Director of Snapshot Nation, a nonprofit national social history project; in 2009 he co-founded the Fine Arts Workshop in Atlanta, where he teaches writing and film studies. He is a former artist-in-residence at The Serenbe Institute, and holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and a Masters Degree from The New School.
